Our Opportunity
North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for a Quality Systems Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will review applicable customer/certification requirements and audit NAL processes to ensure compliance. They provide training to quality systems and assist Quality and Manufacturing in daily reporting.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Your Priorities
Plans, promotes, organizes, and/or provides training related to quality systems.
Audits the activities of various departments for compliance to quality plans, policies, and procedures in order to verify compliance to standards.
Prepare and submit reports to plant management on the results of audits, recommending the appropriate corrective action required to bring deficient areas into compliance.
At the request of management, conducts special studies of specific operations requiring the development, interpretation, summarization or findings, and presentations and suggestions.
Acts in an advisory capacity to all departments within the plant on special problems of procedure.
Monitors ppm status and customer complaints to determines if any audits need to be modified to assist in improving processes, etc.
Requirements
Your Background
Bachelor’s Degree in Technology, Manufacturing, Business or other related field, and 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing quality or improvement activities OR
Associates Degree in Business, Manufacturing, or related discipline (or equivalent work experience), and 4+ years of experience in manufacturing quality and/or improvement activities.
Have a current passport available or the ability to obtain a passport within 60 days of employment.
IATF16949 and ISO9000 knowledge preferred.
