　　Global Specialty Chemicals company serving the automotive industy seeks to hire a Quality Assurance Manager for their plant in Pittsburgh. The QA Manager has overall leadership responsibility for the IATF/ISO9001 Quality Management System and the Quality Control function that is charged with the inspection of raw, in process and final inspection of the divisions' products at two locations.

　　This position reports to the Global Director of Quality & EHS.

　　Requirements:

　　BS in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry is desired. Degree preferred but not required.

　　Experience in a manufacturing setting is required.

　　Experience with IAFT/ISO9001 Quality Management System DESIRED but not required

　　At least five years experience leading the QA/QC function in a laboratory environment is desired.

　　Ability to lead a diverse team of quality technicians and engineers while balancing the needs of production/process support.

　　This position is responsible for maintaining a division-wide, IATF16949 and ISO9001 compliant quality management system, to assure that all products manufactured meet customer and company specifications and achieve superior quality and reliability levels.

　　Business systems will mirror and comply with the Corporation's objectives, externalregulations and guidelines as well as customer contracts, specifications and general qualityrequirements.

　　This position is charged with ensuring all the Quality Assurance Systems arefully implemented and monitored and the Quality Control Procedure and Practice arestandardized and followed.

　　This role is responsible for the ongoing analytical assessment ofall materials, certification of their performance to customers, management of the IATFprogram and related Quality Control program and staff.

　　This role is the Quality expert for the location. Hence, is responsible for staffing and trainingof personnel in QA/QC.
