JOB REQUIREMENTS: Duties and Responsibilties of Job: Loparex LLC is theworld\'s largest manufacturer of extrusion base and silicone-coatedrelease liners for the converting industry. We have manufacturingoperations throughout the U.S., Europe, China, Thailand and India. TheHammond facility has been in operation since 1973 and is the largest USbased Loparex manufacturing facility. Loparex is currently looking for aQuality Manager to lead quality processes and the quality lab for theHammond facility. The Quality Manager will cultivate a culture focusedon continuous improvement in safety and quality performance for ourinternal and external customers. In this this role, the Quality Managerwill lead and recommend improvements to the Quality Management System,including internal audits, ISO certifications, and customer audits. TheQuality Manager will also provide regular reviews and refinements ofsupplier and customer specifications, disposition non-conformingproject, compile and distribute internal re ject information, and willbe responsible for approval and final release of products. Directreports of this role will include Quality Engineer, Lab Manager, andQuality Specialist. This role will lead by personal example with apositive attitude, delivering best-in-class service, communicating withintegrity, and supporting our culture of diversity, inclusion, andbelonging. Qualified candidates should posses a Bachelor\'s Degree andfive (5) to seven (7) years of related experience in a manufacturingenvironment, or a combination of education and experience to meet theposition requirements. Candidates should have strong problem solvingskills, computer skills, and the ability to communicate across variouslevels of leadership both verbally and in writing. Demonstratedleadership and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to buildrapport and influence cross-functional teams will be beneficial in thisrole. This position will be onsite at our manufacturing facility a ndwill require the use of personal protective equipment including hearingprotection, safety glasses, and steel toed shoes.
