Quality Lab Technician

Main responsibilities will be in: Micro (EM plates reading, checking and incubating of samples, water testing, sterility media reads) and Isolator (sterility testing)-must be willing to work in a half-suit workstation Isolator.

Position will be focused in Micro (EM plates reading, checking and incubating of samples, water testing, sterility media reads, glassware washing/loading and unloading dishwasher, weighing of samples) and Isolator (sterility testing in a Isolator half-suit and glove ports workstation).

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

Performs technical procedures in QC Laboratory

Reconciliation of test samples and distribution among all Laboratories.

Prepares samples for testing according to SOPs.

Ensure cleanliness of the laboratory.

Performs routine water testing.

Performs sterility testing utilizing isolator barrier technology.

Performs sample preparation and/or testing in biological safety cabinets or fume hoods.

Performs a variety of technical procedures such as preparing routine solutions and reagents and performing routine reactions.

Makes and records observations; performs simple calculations; and collects and prepares data for evaluation.

Conducts laboratory support functions such as stocking and distributing supplies and equipment; arranging and dismantling apparatus; and collecting, washing, and storing glassware.

Performs technical and record keeping duties in conformance with company and regulatory policies and standards to meet quality and accuracy requirements.

May analyze compounds and manage corporate compound collection.
