Description:

　　Responsible for the review and approval of new product requests across all Company Solutions’ sites. Applies product restrictions, export classifications, material requirements, and quality requirements. Controls access to drawings and performs configuration management. Collaborates with teammates and other departments to supports reviews of proposals, contracts, FAA regulatory, program and customer requirements in the development of quality assurance plans. Assists with maintenance of Quality directives, policies, processes, procedures, and metrics. Collects data to support analysis of process data, metrics, models and flows to identify root cause of routine problems. Collects data to support research and analysis of performance reports to improve process capability. Collects data to support Quality source selection activity.

　　Inspects incoming parts/material, outgoing orders verify that certification is correct, checks parts for processing, check special orders, daily use of micrometers, gauge controls, calipers, indicators etc.

　　Verifies routine product conformance to design requirements.Provides objective evidence of results.Performs auditing, surveillance, and monitoring.Identifies and documents discrepancies.Separates and controls non-conforming items.Performs preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance.Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action.• Conducts dimensional inspections per design record and documented AQL levels; Conducts visual inspections for obvious defects.• Review and disposition all certification documentation to meet traceability requirements per AS9100 and Company Quality standards; communicate with vendor as needed. Disposition and control of non-conforming product.• Obtain and maintain Customer Designated Supplier Quality Representative Stamps for at least three customers (or as applicable by Site size); Active use of stamps required.• Review and approval of First Articles from suppliers.• Perform First Articles for submission to customers.• Identify and communicate opportunities to increase inspector productivity and assist with RCCA activities pertaining to Inspection. Assist in internal, customer, and third-party audits.

　　Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience)• 2-4 years of related work experience or Equivalent combination of formal education, on-the-job training, and/or work experience• Preferred experience in QA inspection methods and procedures• Fluent in English (i.e. reading, writing, and verbal communication)• Required to pass documented color and near vision exam• Knowledge of AS9100 requirements highly preferred• Preferred experience in the usage of calipers, ring/pin gages, comparator, and Smart scope Proficient PC skills and use of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel)• Understanding of Six Sigma / team concepts• Preferred Advanced GD&T Skills – Optical Comparator, Layout, Vision Scope Systems- MUST BE US PERSON (HAVE ACCESS TO BIRTH CERT.
