Hours: 3rd Shift, Sunday-Thursday, 11 pm-7 am Pay: \$19per hour The Quality Inspector will perform a visual inspection ofprinted materials for defects, such as loose, torn, or wrinkled pages,missing staples, incorrect bindings, incorrect bookcases, and warpedlaminated paperback covers. This position will perform sample selection,taking random samples of publications from a machine or table andexamining the product for a variety of possible defects such as raggededges, torn or wrinkled pages, incomplete cuts, incorrect bindings,smeared or blotched colors, dirt on the product and any other visualdefect that is out of specification. Follow the inspection checklist andrecord any identified defects. Ensure that the products meet qualityconformance specified by the customer. Prepare written reports andprovide notification to manufacturing management of known or founddefects. Requirements: Previous quality control experience, standing forthe duration of the shift, and lift 45 pounds frequently.
