Primary Responsibilities:
It is every BPM, Inc. Employee's responsibility to be aware of and work with Belvac's current documented Quality Management System as it pertains to their job requirementsPerform a wide range of inspection functions in accordance with approved procedures and/or instructions. These functions include but may not be limited to:Receipt Inspection to include staging of parts and materialsIn Process InspectionsFirst pieceFinalFinal InspectionAssembly InspectionProcess SurveillancesOther duties as assigned
Skills and Knowledge Required to Perform Job:
Basic Inspection Skills:
Able to perform basic inspection using Micrometers, Calipers, Indicators and basic hand gaugesBlue Print ReadingBasic Math skillsBasic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & TolerancingBasic PC skillsMicrosoft WindowsRFCA & Receipt inspection databasesPerforming inquiries on ERP systemsPerforming and document process surveillance activitiesCoordinate Measuring Machine Skills:
Load and run programs on Direct Computer Control (DCC)-CMMPerform basic inspection on manual CMM, which as a minimum should include:Probe calibration, part alignment, setting origins, rotating alignments, measurement of part features, verifying part dimensions with data output from CMM. Measurements to be two dimensional, in XY Plane.
