JOB REQUIREMENTS: We are looking for an Intern or Co-op for the Summer2024 semester who can work 40 hrs/week onsite with employment startingin May/June. The Quality Assurance Co-op or Intern will prepare clear,complete and accurate Quality documents, flow charts from rough oroutlines of a procedure and apply them to a specific document format byperforming the following duties. Responsibilities: *UpholdsAndisCoreValues of Excellence, Integrity, and Respect in all work-relatedactivities. *Creates or updates specific written procedures, documents,flowcharts as required. This work is done under close direction from aQuality Engineer, Supervisor or Quality Manager. *Enters raw datacollected from various production operations into the appropriateprogrammer spread sheets. *Complete data analysis utilizing MinitabSoftware (based on previous engineering/internship experience)*Collects and correlates gage/fixture information *Performs processand product audits (as needed) *Utilizes knowledge of engineeringpractices, mathematics, and other physical sciences to completedrawings. *Has the ability to make small design changes to 3D modelspreviously created using the Solid Works program. *Has the ability toproblem solve quality issues and write non-conforming material reports.*Assists with Calibration activities as needed. *Assists with PPAP andAd-hoc activities as needed. *Assists with sorting, measurement, andany other root cause investigation activities. *Assists with incominginspection as needed. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:Requirements: *Must be enrolled in an accredited technical schooloruniversity,studying toward an associate/bachelor\'sdegreeinManufacturing Engineering, IndustrialEngineeringor *Industrial DesignEngineering.Must have and maintain a minimum G.P.A. of 3.00/4.0.*Proficient in MS Office, preferably Word, Outlook, and Excel(utilizing various functions,VLOOKUP,etc). *Experience with AutoCAD isa plus. *Ability to read and interpret general business periodicals,professional journals, technical procedures, or governmentalregulations. *Ability to create professional reports and businesscorrespondence. *Ability to effectively present information and respondto questions from Engineers, Designers,supervisorsand peers. *Abilityto read blueprints. *Ability to work with mathematical concepts such asprobability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane andsolid geometry and trigonometry.
