　　The Quality Engineer will focus on quality systems and quality assurance. In this role, the Quality Engineer will represent the company through interaction with customers and certifying bodies and suppliers.

　　WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING :

　　-Assure compliance of internal policies and procedures in accordance with certifying bodies and customer requirements.

　　Focus on Quality Assurance to include:

　　-Deployment of QMS migration from paper and standalone systems to enterprise system(s).

　　-Development and editing of documents based on continuous improvement.

　　-Statistical approach to problem solving and risk management.

　　-Conduct Internal audits.

　　-Template best practices and mentor Quality Assurance Team at other factories/locations.

　　-Ensures that processes needed for the Quality department.

　　-Participates and documents problem solving to control and improve the quality of the production processes.

　　-Maintains a working knowledge of the latest codes and new development in testing and examination methods of process, material, products or process quality and reliability.

　　-Work cross functionally with other departments.

　　WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR :

　　-Bachelor’s degree or higher in an Engineering or Quality.

　　-2+ years of experience.

　　-Experience with ISO9001, IATF 16949, PPAP.

　　-Experience in automotive quality systems.

　　-Strong attention to detail and organization.

　　-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

　　-Strong team player who effectively collaborates with suppliers and internal departments.

　　-Manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously to meet established deadlines.

　　OTHER QUALITIES WE’D LOVE FOR YOU TO HAVE :

　　-Demonstrated knowledge of: Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA), Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA), Statistical Process Control (SCP) and Supplier Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).

　　-Application and execution of formal problem-solving tools: 8D, 5 why, Fishbone.

　　-ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or ASQ Certified Internal Auditor (CQA).

　　-Experience working in an automotive supply chain or automotive supply production facility.

　　-Experience in an industry automotive supply chain.

　　-Experience with MasterControl, SAP and JMP or Minitab.

　　The annual base salary range for this position is $85,000 - $110,000. All positions come with a company bonus and stock options. The actual base pay offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the position is located.
