DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Quality Assurance/Risk Management Specialist, you will support the Quality Management and Risk Management Program and contribute to the organization's mission, vision, and values by monitoring and evaluating the quality of services and supports provided at our facility. In this position, you will assist in inputting, updating, monitoring, and closing necessary documentation and information in a database system. Your duties will include supporting the development of correction plans related to licensing surveys and regulatory compliance, utilizing computer programs, and ensuring data integrity by providing training and support to staff involved in data entry and collection. In this role, you will be required to be a certified investigator, as well as serve as a chair on assigned committees and focus groups.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employmentWork hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. You will work occasional weekends and alternate shifts.Travel and overtime as neededFree parking!Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:Two years of professional experience as a member of a multiple disciplinary treatment team in a public or private health care facility and a bachelor's degree;orTwo years of clinical experience in an human services agency, including one year of administrative, evaluative, or consultative experience in a health care program; and a bachelor's degree with major course work in social work, nursing, health care administration, behavioral sciences or a related field;orAny equivalent combination of experience and training.

You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirements:A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
