　　The Role:

　　Perform System and Hardware Verification and Validation Test Engineering activities within the R&D Team, to ensure the device under test satisfies its System and Component Level Requirements.

　　Responsible for the full test life cycle of Requirements analysis, creating and designing Test Cases, Test Tools / Equipment / Documentation, Executing the tests on the product, Defect Capture and Analysis and Reporting throughout.

　　Your key responsibilities will include, and not limited to:

　　Perform Verification of Robotic designs and their associated control Systems

　　Perform Verification of Fluidic designs and their associated control Systems

　　Perform Verification of Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic designs

　　Requirements Analysis

　　To be a source of technical expertise and knowledge of Testing Methodologies and Test Equipment

　　Support leadership in Test Engineering Teams of medium to large projects / programs

　　Improve team capability across test strategies and processes

　　Provide estimates for project related verification and validation activities

　　Self-manage and mitigate risks and issues

　　Self-proficient in driving test programs and projects to completion in line with established schedules

　　Resolve issues in a timely and cross-functional manner, work with other teams to efficiently solve problems

　　Works well in a team, communicates clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing

　　Author and Review of Test Cases and Procedures

　　Author Test Plans and Test Reports for small to medium projects

　　Execution of Test Cases / Procedures and sign-off of result

　　Identify Test Tools required for the testing, Define Requirements and perform verification on the Test Tools (Hardware, Fluidic and Robotic Jigs)

　　Review and Perform defect verification

　　Being motivated, proactive and self-guided in solving problems and conscious of importance of achieving agreed deliverable dates with opportunity to develop the team role

　　Write and Review V&V Documentation

　　Verification of Prototype and final designs within time, cost and quality constraints

　　To be successful in this opportunity, a prior experience in the following criteria would be required:

　　A Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in Test Engineering of System and/or Hardware testing programs of a product within an R&D and/or Production Environments.

　　Experience in the application of test processes and methods.

　　Experience in one or more of the following:

　　Mechatronic / Robotic Hardware Test and/or Design processes / methods

　　Fluidic Hardware Test and/or Design processes / methods

　　Mechanical Component / System Test and/or Design processes / methods

　　Control Systems Test and/or Design processes / methods

　　Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to write clear and concise technical documents

　　Experience with the following technologies:

　　Experience in use of HP Quality Centre

　　MS Windows OS environment.

　　Experience in mechanical and electrical design CAD Tools (ProE, Altium)

　　Management of defects and change using systems such as JIRA.

　　Experience in application of test process through a hardware and software development life cycle.

　　Excellent self-management skills

　　Highly Desirable:

　　Experience in a highly regulated industry e.g. medical, defence shall be highly regarded

　　Understanding of System Engineering Principles

　　Experience using commercial test equipment e.g. National Instruments, Agilent

　　Experience with Firmware Testing Methodologies
