Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented QA Tester with expertise in testing applications developed or deployed on Azure platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance processes, test automation, and performance testing in cloud-based environments. Experience in the retail industry is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts for applications hosted on Azure platforms.

Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure application quality and scalability.

Design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks compatible with Azure DevOps pipelines.

Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to ensure clarity of requirements and effective defect resolution.

Identify, document, and track defects, providing detailed reports to the development team.

Monitor and ensure application compliance with cloud security standards and best practices.

Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to support the continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) process.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

3+ years of experience in QA testing, with a focus on cloud-based applications.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure technologies and services.

Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Postman, JMeter) a big plus.

Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and version control tools (e.g., Git).

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Strong communication and collaboration skills within a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications (a Plus):

Experience in the retail industry or testing retail-related applications.

Azure-related certifications (e.g., Azure Fundamentals, Azure DevOps Engineer, etc.).

Knowledge of performance testing and load testing tools like LoadRunner or Blazemeter.

Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
