Kelly Science & Clinical is currently seeking candidates for a Lab Technician position at a petroleum testing laboratory in Beaumont, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting and performing a wide range of chemical and physical analyses on petroleum fuels including gasoline and diesel.

　　Additional Job Responsibilities:

　　Perform all required testing on petroleum fuels

　　Assist in the setting up of laboratory equipment and / or instrumentation required for the analysis of samples

　　Assist in calibrating laboratory instruments in accordance with applicable standards

　　Perform standardization of all solutions

　　Document all activities and record keeping according to SOP's

　　Assist in all other laboratory assignments and projects

　　General upkeep and housekeeping of the Laboratory

　　Job Requirements:

　　BS in Chemistry or other related technical discipline is preferred, but not required

　　A minimum of 6 months of lab experience within the oil and gas industry testing petroleum fuels

　　Must be able to work with all chemicals, petrochemicals, and petroleum products

　　Ability to work with minimal or no supervision coupled with excellent organizational skills

　　Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication (verbal and written) skills

　　Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.) and other applications
