Responsibilities
The Role:
Quality consists of jobs which develop and administer the quality system that ensures and manages the integrity of company products and services.
LOCATION: Kinston, NC
Key Accountabilities:
Apply knowledge of engineering (e.g., manufacturing, tooling, quality, and statistics, etc.) to analyze requirements of contracts, drawings, and specifications to evaluate production processes for compliance.
Ability to perform configuration audits and reviews of products, tools, and processes.
Analyze First Pass Yield data and collect evidence to understand the contributing causes and plan audits of the affected processes.
Skill in process improvement methodologies (i.e., root cause analysis) to plan and coordinate process improvements.
Ability to ensure sequenced inspection control points, create and maintain inspection accountability systems.
Ability to identify, evaluate, and implement preventative measures, corrective action, procedural changes, and process improvements to present resultant findings.
Ability to validate that key requirements from engineering are cascaded, bubbled and documented in a FAI.
Focal should be able to communicate and monitor day to day activities related to FAIs.
Focal have qualifications, knowledge, experience to verify that engineering specifications are captured, executed and documented
Qualifications
Requirements:
Minimum of 6 years’ experience in Quality / Audit / Compliance
Knowledgeable of the entire Production Process
MS Office, especially Excel, SAP
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong understanding of Airbus engineer/ specification requirements
Extensive experience in major assembly and sub assembly operations
Bachelor's Degree
SAP experience
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and team-based environment
Ability to prioritize requests from multiple sources and support requirements
Self-motivated; taking ownership of projects and issues, including follow through to closure and resolution
The ability to professionally and diplomatically communicate with all employees/ Leadership, Auditees, Customer and Candidates
Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail
Great attitude and willingness to learn
Experience in performing FAIs and utilizing FileNet will be preferred.
