Services include requirements analysis, engineering, facility and systems design, systems integration and installation, customization, programming, maintenance, support, translation and interpretation, and training.

  Description Duties and Responsibilities

  TheidealcandidatewillperformintheroleofaJapanese Instructor with the required teaching experience and learning methodology. You will need to have excellent language skills and work under the direction of experienced trainers. Instructors will provide 3 to 5 hours of instruction daily in course related material at S/L/R from 0 to 3. In addition to your teaching curriculum the ideal candidate will engage in tester training to become a certified language tester and conduct 3 to 4 languages per week. All instructors must be able to develop class materials, training aids to meet the needs for your classes. This position has the responsibility to instruct students in speaking a foreign language and assimilate the country and its surroundings in order to teach the culture through concise communication. Lastly, you will be required to ensure professional performance during working hours.

  · Must havegoodunderstanding and be familiar with current events where theregionaldialects are spoken.

  Educational / Work Experience

  · Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or Language preferred

  · Instructors need at least two year of teaching, or 8 to 12 years of prior relevant experience.

  · Language Testing

  · Course Design

  · Content Management

  · Editing and Quality Control of language products

  · Summarizing/Gisting while drawing upon linguistic or cultural expertise

  · Writing reports

  · Selection in various media

  · This positionwillinteractwithbothinternalandexternalcustomerstoincludemembersofFedSysSeniorManagementandtheUSInteragencyCommunity.

  Professional/Certification Requirements

  · All candidates will be required to take a Basic English Test (BET) (one hour) pass a Translation Assessment (TA), take and pass Speaking/Listening/Reading S/L/R each o/a three hours

  · Testing Requirements: MinimumS/L/R4-4+fortranslation

  Security Requirements

  The selected individual must be able to successfully pass a background and drug screening as a condition of employment. The selected individual may/will be subject to a government security background investigation and must meet eligibility and suitability requirements. Clearance level requirement may be subject to change at the government’s discretion. In this event, you will be required to obtain and maintain the required clearance for the duration of your employment. Incumbent may be selected at a higher or lower clearance level as specified by any change made by the Government.

  Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. Linguists cannot begin work on contract without a fully adjudicated security clearance.
