ASRC Federal Data Solutions, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking Software Developers supporting our NOAA programs in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

　　This role is 100% remote and can be based anywhere within the continental United States.

　　Key Role:

　　Design and implement new systems and features, as well as modify and maintain existing systems for adaptation to business and/or technology changes. . They should have strong analytic capability and the ability to create innovative solutions.

　　Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.

　　Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code.

　　Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.

　　Improve operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures.

　　Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of business analysts, developers, data scientists, and subject-matter experts.

　　Requirements :

　　Required:

　　BS/BA degree in related field

　　5 + years of related software development xperience.

　　Understanding and know-how of LiDAR Based HAND Capabilities, and HEC-RAS Derived FIM Libraries (1D & 2D).

　　Familiarity with Replace and Route Model and Forecast System.

　　Experience with Near Real-time FIM Forecasting System and Services.

　　Experience developing user stories and define acceptance criteria.

　　Hands-on experience managing all stages of the product life cycle.

　　Technical background with knowledge of software development and web technologies.

　　Preferred:

　　Multi-Cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP) experience desired.

　　Knowledge of web services, API, REST and RPC desired.

　　Prior experience on supporting FIM services.
