We’re looking for Quality, Safety, Health and Environment (QHSE) Depot Specialist for our location in Cabuyao, Laguna to be responsible activities related to environmental health and safety.

What you’ll do:
Carry out Internal / External QHSE Audits. On-site review and inspection of both transactional and long-term projects
Support in the preparation of risk assessments and job safety analysis on an ongoing basis where required including project/job-specific work permits.
Interface with clients during mobilisation/demobilisation and operational matters
Conduct in depth Investigations for all QHSE related incidents and liaise with local management teams creating corrective and immediate action plans.
Familiarity with local regulations related to labor:
RA No. 11058 an Act Strengthening Compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Standards
And environment such clean air act, clean water act, hazardous and solid waste management act.
Take on the role of Pollution Control Officer (PCO) and interface with external consultants and related government agencies for obtaining Permit to Operate (PTO) and local government unit/s. Overall, monitor and improve the Health, Safety & Environment in compliance with local legislation, regulations and company policy.
Identify and implement QHSE improvements on an ongoing basis in conjunction with the Country Manager, Service Manager and QHSE Manager.
Support risk identification and reporting and ensure timely follow up and closure of all HSE reports.
Ensure compliance to all internal reporting processes identifying trend and gap analysis through reporting.
Consolidate and produce QHSE KPIs data and format into Monthly QHSE reports for ongoing reporting.
Conduct internal QHSE inductions at a local level encompassing all relevant staff and sub – contractors.
Identify potential training requirements relevant to QHSE and produce training calendar proposals for review and approval by the Service Manager and QHSE Manager.
You’ll have the following skills and experience:
College/associate degree in related field or equivalent qualifications.
Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Graduate a plus.
Accredited OSH Practitioner (required)
Has knowledge or experience in mechanical or electrical fields or both is desired.
Minimum five years of experience in related field.
Availability to travel frequently as and when required.
Site based job but requires frequent visits to the sites.
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
Fluent command of English language, spoken and written
Effective planning organizational and time management skills
Able to work long hours in demanding conditions.
