Quality Control Technician: Position Grade C (Entry-level)
Description/ Job Summary
Follows any and all directives of Quality Control Supervisor
Complies with all written and verbal safety rules, using personal protective equipment as required by department and plant safety programs
Performs product quality assurance testing in accordance with established procedures
Data Entry
Assist in Line trial testing
Performs audits of Slitting Departments of finished product
Comply with Plant safety regulations and good manufacturing practices
Must have regular, reliable attendance as well as the ability to work outside the regular schedule as required
Able to handle job stress and interact effectively with others in the workplace
Preferred Skills
PC knowledge a plus
Proven team-work concept
A high degree of written and oral communication skills
Preferred Education
High school diploma or equivalent Quality Control Technician: Position Grade B
Description/ Job Summary

Knowledge of all instruments, function and calibration
Train with Sr. Technician on troubleshooting laboratory equipment
Data entry
Assist in Line trial testing
Performs audits of Slitting and Shipping departments of finished product
Semi-finished and finished product testing / inspection
Comply with Plant safety regulations and good manufacturing practices
Must have regular, reliable attendance as well as the ability to work outside the regular schedule as required
Able to handle job stress and interact effectively with others in the workplace
Preferred Skills
1 year experience in Plastic Industry with QC of BOPP Plant

Description/ Job Summary
Assist QC Supervisor in updating and revising methods and procedures
Follows any and all directions of Quality Management
Pallet Inspections
Duties of QC Supervisor upon absence
Acquainted with customer requirements
Knowledge of all instruments, function, and calibration
Knowledge of all testing criteria
Troubleshooting all lab equipment when required
Knowledge of all film types and applications
Filing of ISO procedures and implementation of updated forms
Ensures update notifications to responsible persons on all department policies and procedures that require periodic reviews and updates
Daily Production Reports
Modify and maintain QC Data System Program
Substitute and perform QC shift tech functions when the circumstances need so as determined by the QC Manager and/or QC Supervisor
Comply with Plant safety regulations and good manufacturing practices
Must have regular, reliable attendance as well as the ability to work outside the regular schedule as required
Able to handle job stress and interact effectively with others in the workplace
