Description:

　　This person will be joining the Analytics Team working on a Minesite Simulation Project. The project is to create a simulation of an active mine site, building roads, routes, charging stations, trolleys, trucks, load zones, etc. So that the client can run this simulation on their electric mining trucks to learn how they can optimize the equipment and mine. They have the 1st generation of this built but currently have a lot of new requests and enhancements to add.

　　Job Responsibilities:

　　• Work as part of a project team to write high quality/efficient code, coordinate software development, and determine project scope and limitations.

　　• Review project requests describing user needs to estimate time and requirements to accomplish project.

　　• Develop new features for existing simulation software*

　　• Extract meaningful answers from complicated simulation outputs*

　　• Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system or direct others in coding descriptions.*

　　• Modify existing databases and database management systems.*

　　Top Skills' Details

　　1.) 3-5 years experience with OOP Python development

　　2.) Deployment experience, using GIT and Jenkins all code will be deployed to AWS. Strong QA skills, ability to test own code.

　　Nice to have:

　　AWS

　　Experience with SQL querying

　　Azure DevOps

　　Snowflake

　　• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.

　　• Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.

　　• Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.

　　• Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle: from business/systems analysis, through requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery.

　　• Ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue.

　　• Knowledge of computer hardware and software.

　　• Knowledge of QA testing processes.
