　　Job Summary

　　Join our team as a Senior Accountant! We are looking for a motivated individual to perform a variety of Accounting task to include non-standard reporting and analysis, audits, cost studies, and more.

　　This role is hybrid and our ideal candidate will live within commutable distance of Danbury, CT or Menomonee Falls, WI.

　　What You Will Do

　　Perform complex tasks to include non-standard reports and analysis of the impact of various projects and transactions

　　Audit accounts to ensure adherence to corporate policy

　　Conduct cost systems studies

　　Ensure integrity of expense, tax, insurance, overhead, accounts payable & receivables, and special fund amounts

　　May lead tasks or aspects of a task or project; provide guidance to less experienced staff members

　　Recommend improvements to accounting policies and procedures

　　Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization

　　Apply principles of accounting to monitor and analyze financial information, and prepare specialized reports

　　Balance books and prepare accounting statements (i.e., profit/loss, income, cash flow, etc.) and schedules

　　Record assets and liabilities and other financial transactions

　　Maintain records of disbursements and expenses

　　Contribute to improving processes and procedures that accurately capture, track and report on financial transactions

　　Ensure adherence to and communication of accounting policies and procedures

　　Education & Experience Requirements

　　Bachelor’s degree in accounting with 5+ years related experience, preferably in a government contracting environment (or equivalent combination of education/training and experience)

　　Impeccable written and verbal communicator

　　Willing and able to work cross-functionally and across various sites

　　Candidates must be a US citizen and meet DRS security standards as imposed by DoD, including the issuance of any necessary security clearance by the US government within a reasonable time after commencement of employment
