　　Position Specific Description

　　This position sits within the Power Generation Division which is responsible for all of NextEra Energy's non-nuclear generation operations, exceeding 40,000 megawatts (MW) of installed capacity.

　　This position will be based out of our San Fransisco Office located in Stockton, CA.

　　Position is responsible for operation and maintenance for solar PV collection assemblies, battery energy storage, AC/DC inverters on multiple solar power plants to achieve safe, efficient, and environmentally sound plant operations. Maintains all tools, shops, vehicles, and all work locations in a safe and efficient condition. Provides inspection of watch, electrical, mechanical, and electronic trouble shooting for a solar arrays and inverters. Inspection is performed daily for fluid system breaches, mechanical component breakage or misalignment and electrical component failures preventing inverters from producing grid power. Job will include other misc duties as assigned.

　　Employees in this role are responsible for the operation and maintenance of solar generation equipment on multiple solar power plants to achieve safe, efficient, and environmentally sound plant operations. Successful candidates apply a working knowledge of troubleshooting electrical components and equipment to include the use of digital multi-meters, meggers, and amp clamps.

　　Job Duties & Responsibilities

　　Maintains all tools, shops, vehicles, and work locations in a safe and efficient condition

　　Provides inspection of watch, electrical, mechanical, and electronic troubleshooting for a solar field equipment

　　Performs switching and grounding of medium and high voltage equipment

　　Performs daily inspection for cooling system discrepancies, mechanical component breakage, and electrical component failures preventing solar field equipment from operating as designed

　　Travel to other sites will be required

　　Required Qualifications

　　High School Grad / GED

　　Experience: 1+ years

　　Valid Driver's License (NON CDL)
