Description Robert Half is currently working with a dynamic client seeking a Purchasing Assistant. The Purchasing Assistant will be responsible for supporting the purchasing department. In order to be successful in this position, you must have excellent interpersonal and analytical skills. The ideal Purchasing Assistant will have previous purchasing or procurement experience and a desire to advance their career. 　　Your responsibilities

　　Review that received orders are complete with all information

　　Works closely with all departments to ensure they have appropriate inventory levels

　　Identify best options for suppliers, goods, and services

　　Carry out data entry of daily purchase orders

　　Provides exemplary customer service when working with vendors and suppliers

　　Aid in any additional duties of the purchasing department Requirements - Must have strong research skills and excellent analytical thinking

　　Strong documentation and organization skills

　　High school diploma or GED required

　　Proficiency in CRM, ERP, and inventory management software programs

　　Previous experience as a purchasing agent or in a similar position

　　Degree in business administration, procurement, or a related field preferred

　　Excellent communication and negotiation skills
