Description:
Forklift Operators will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Supplemental Waste Program to include the off-loading and handling of Special Waste deliveries. Supervision of the plant and/or temporary laborers assisting with this process. Will work closely with the environmental, operations, and business departments to approve and process waste opportunities and ensure strong customer relations.
Responsibilities will include:
Supervising, unloading, inspection, and processing of special waste deliveries
Daily plant cleanup assignment
Work cooperatively with Facility Operations to ensure inbound waste is managed in accordance with operational management plans (tipping floor, pit, operations, traffic flow, etc.)
Related administrative paperwork, contract, profiles, receipts and tracking procedures associated with the Supplemental Waste Program as assigned
Ensure that all relevant Federal and State regulatory requirements and sound environmental, health & safety practices are followed

Position Requirements:
The ability to operate a forklift & other heavy equipment is required
1-3 years of Shipping & Receiving or Warehouse Management Experience
Strong leadership skill, oral and written communication skills
Proficiency in Excel and Word
Energy from Waste Facility or Power Plant Experience preferred
