Description We are searching for a proficient Purchase Sales Specialist to become a part of our team in the Non-Profit industry, based in ROCHESTER, New York. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. As a Purchase Sales Specialist, you will be tasked with managing various aspects of our purchasing and sales operations, with a particular focus on Accounting Software Systems and ERP Solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Handle the purchasing and sales operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency at all times.

• Navigate and utilize Accounting Software Systems and ERP Solutions to manage transactions and records.

• Apply knowledge of '3M' and 'About Time' systems in daily tasks and operations.

• Manage the buying processes, ensuring all transactions are completed in accordance with company policies and procedures.

• Maintain strong communication within the team and with external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.

• Utilize MS Great Plains Accounting software for financial tracking and reporting.

• Perform various accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP), to support the finance department.

• Utilize knowledge of the Manufacturing Industry to enhance purchase and sales strategies.

• Operate IBM AS/400 system to manage and analyze data.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary. Requirements • Proficiency in 3M and IBM AS/400

• Proficient in Accounting Software Systems and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Knowledge of ERP Solutions

• Familiarity with About Time software

• Experience with Accounting Functions and Accounts Payable (AP)

• Understanding of Buying Processes

• Strong Communication skills

• Proficiency in MS Great Plains Accounting

• Experience in the Manufacturing Industry

• Ability to comply with non-profit industry standards and practices
