　　Summary:Working under the guidance of the Medical Director and Laboratory Technologists/Technicians, the Lab Assistant performs specimen collection and specimen processing.

　　High School Graduate or GED with previous Phlebotomy training and experience

　　_Required Certification: _

　　Phlebotomy certification is preferred

　　BLS is required within 30 days of hire

　　Six (6) months phlebotomy experience in the health care field is preferred.
