JOB REQUIREMENTS: Loparex LLC is the world\'s largest manufacturer ofextrusion base and silicone-coated release liners for the convertingindustry. We have facilities throughout the U.S., Europe, China, andIndia. The Hammond facility has been in operation since 1973 and is thelargest US manufacturing facility. Loparex\'s Hammond Facility iscurrently looking for a Technical Manager, responsible for total processoptimization in the Hammond, WI plant. This position will be responsiblefor: Promotes safety by leading by example, participating in safetyengagement, and encouraging the team to work safe each day and to followall safety guidelines and procedures Works in concert with othermanagers improving safety, quality, teamwork, customer satisfaction andcontinuous improvement Leads Process Engineering efforts, cultivating aculture of continuous improvement Lead the Technical team in developingstandard operating conditions (SOC), and oversees eq uipmentself-monitoring efforts Leads the Implementation Pipeline projects teamProvide technical support to the manufacturing, R&D, and salesdepartments Responsible for process and product definition, efficiency,and optimization Audits performance against product master Drives wastereduction, process consistency and equipment uptime. Lead the team bypersonal example with a positive attitude, setting the standards for theteam Coordinates statistical problem-solving efforts, including but notlimited to, designed experiments, capability studies and variousstatistical analysis Travel to customers as necessary Qualifiedcandidates will have a Bachelor\'s degree, or equivalent inEngineering/Chemistry, 8+ years of experience in manufacturing andtechnical environment, and a minimum of 3 years of direct supervision ofprofessional level staff. Experience with Lean-Six Sigma, structuredproblem solving and statistical process control is desired in this role.Experience and knowledge of extrusion coating, silicone coating, paperconverting and printing, and slitting processes are preferred.
