JOB REQUIREMENTS: JOB PURPOSE AND REPORTING STRUCTURE: Under theBehavioral Health Clinic Manager, the Psychotherapist provides mentalhealth and substance use therapy in the behavioral health clinic. ThePsychotherapist provides clinically appropriate care from intake todischarge, in accordance with agency policies and procedures. ESSENTIALDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Completes comprehensive mental healthand/or substance use assessments and establishes service plans Providesevidence informed mental health and/or AODA individual/group therapyMeets all legal, regulatory, and agency standards in providing careCompletes required documentation of services Collaborates withbehavioral health and primary care providers and/or community servicescase managers for integration of care Facilitates referrals to otherneeded services and/or levels of care Provides crisis prevention andintervention as needed Provides on-call duties as assigned Maintainslicense and training requirements MARGINAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Must be ableto handle all situations with tact, persuasiveness, and diplomacy. Mustpossess a high level of confidentiality. Must possess the ability to beself-directed and handle multiple projects simultaneously. Must possessthe ability to proofread, prioritize work and to respond to patientcalls in a timely and courteous manner. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:Requires a master\'s degree in a job related major and post degree statelicensure (Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical SocialWorker).
