The University of Chicago's Department of Psychiatry and BehavioralNeuroscience is searching for a full-time faculty member at any rank.The appointee will provide assessments and brief, evidence-basedinterventions for patients presenting with sleep disorders, interactwith multidisciplinary team members (e.g., pulmonology, neurology,otolaryngology) to inform shared treatment plans, and deliver clinicaland consultative services to sleep medicine providers. The appointeewill support clinics including adult and pediatric sleep disorders; andjoin a multidisciplinary team aiming to expand the reach andeffectiveness of the integrated behavioral health program in sleepmedicine. Other duties will include teaching and supervision of traineesand students, and scholarly activity. We especially welcome applicantswith training and experience in adult and pediatric psychology (with anemphasis in sleep psychology preferred), behavioral medicine principles,evidence-based treatment for medical and psychiatric conditions, and/orcompetency in cognitive-behavior therapy, including third wavetreatments and motivational enhancement. Academic rank and compensation(including a generous package of fringe benefits) are dependent uponqualifications.

Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have aPhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology from anAPA-accredited university-based doctoral program, 2) hold or be eligiblefor an Illinois license in Clinical Psychology, and 3) have completed aninternship at an APA-accredited site.
