TDA Research, Inc., located outside Denver, Colorado with research offices in Wheat Ridge and Golden, is seeking an experienced Proposal Analyst to join their dynamic team. The company has a staff of over 100, which consists of mainly engineers and scientists who develop cutting edge chemical processes, materials, and hardware for customers in the defense, aerospace, energy, and chemical industries. Taking primary guidance from the Contracts and Legal Manager, the Proposal Analyst will be responsible for compiling materials and preparing, finalizing and submitting a large volume of proposals for federal government contracts in conformance with solicitation requirements and with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Additionally, the Proposal Analyst will actively manage the proposal schedule and interface with internal senior staff and executives to ensure proposals are timely submitted. Additional responsibilities include document management and maintaining accurate records, tracking proposals through the pre-award and award phase, administering the company’s inventory management program including disposition of property at the contract closeout stage, processing and submitting contract deliverable reports with various government agencies, and fielding general contractual inquiries.
This role requires strong interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in submitting a large volume of proposals for government contracts and a can-do approach to related challenges. Additionally, the successful candidate will excel in document processing, editing and navigating government submission sites.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Communicate, plan and actively manage proposal schedules for various government agencies, including maintaining internal tracking tools
Collaborate with senior staff to ensure proposals are fully compliant with solicitation and agency requirements, as identified in solicitation documents
Assist with developing budgetary and financial elements of proposals
Interface with senior staff and executives to advise on proposal requirements
Compile proposal materials and submit proposals according to solicitation requirements and within deadlines, which will require occasional non-standard work hours
Support pre-award negotiation efforts
Participate in process improvement efforts for proposal submission tasks including developing solutions and streamlining efforts
Maintain documents and records according to departmental conventions and established practices
Assist with administration of company’s inventory management program for property purchased with government funds
Process and submit high volume of contract reporting deliverables with various agencies in accordance with contract requirements
Field general contractual inquiries from internal staff including reviewing contract instruments and advising on terms and conditions
Assist with process improvements that may or may not be related to proposals and assisting at times with program management tasks
Perform other duties as necessary.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (or related degree). Higher level degree may substitute for two years of experience
Relevant work experience of at least 2-6 years of recent “hands-on” government proposal experience
A history of performance illustrating skills in being a self-starter, having excellent interpersonal and communication, and ability to work independently and with a dynamic team
Proven analytical ability and close attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present clearly and succinctly
Ability to handle short deadlines / quick-turn requests
Ability to quickly determine and communicate relevant information
Strong Microsoft Office skills
Team player with a drive for excellence and ability to collaborate at all levels of the organization
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Remaining in a stationary position
Fine motor skills for use of a computer, keyboard and phone
Close vision for computer work
Moderate noise (i.e., business office with computers, phone, and printers, light traffic)

The annual salary range is $72,000-$87,000, plus the complete benefits package.
In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, actual compensation is subject to variation due to factors as education, experience, skill-set, and/or location.
