EquipmentShare is searching for a Property Transaction & Closing Specialist for our corporate office in Columbia, MO, to help us expand our footprint across the United States.

Primary Responsibilities
Provides advice and counsel related to real estate site selection, transaction structure, due diligence (including zoning, title, survey, and environmental review), and real estate documents related to new branch opening activities.
Leads negotiation, drafting of EquipmentShare's real estate agreements, and assistance in closings for a variety of commercial transaction types, including: purchases, sales, leases, sale-leasebacks, and acquisitions.
Interact directly with colleagues at all levels within EquipmentShare's real estate, development, and construction teams, among others, to facilitate transparency across departments.
Interact directly with outside counsel, opposing counsel and staff landlord personnel, title and escrow agents, and others.
Understand, manage, and improve EquipmentShare and Legal Department procedures and forms to create efficiencies and cost savings.

Skills & Qualifications
Ability to multitask within a fast-paced work environment with very detailed information and maintain a high degree of accuracy.
Proactive work ethic demonstrating initiative.
Ability to organize, coordinate, manage self and time effectively, prioritize projects, and meet deadlines.
Ability to communicate effectively, professionally, and persuasively with employees, managers, and the public, both verbally and in writing.
Self-directed and able to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
Strong computer skills, including ability to learn and use proprietary computer systems and databases.
Some travel needed, as required.
Notary Public preferred.
