Our staff provides cyber security support to the Department of Energy National Nuclear Security Administration.
We are seeking to hire a Property Managerto support and contribute to our government customer's success in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The candidate will be part of the Operations Team working in a 24x7 environment. The position requires interaction with multiple departments within the Cyber Security group, personnel at customer sites, various levels of management, and outside agencies. Position can include up to 10% travel, local and nationwide. Applicant should be a positive, flexible, self-starter requiring minimal supervision, and able to excel in a fast-paced environment. Communication skills are critical with the ability to verbalize and provide documentation to both technical and non-technical audiences. Applicants should be detail-oriented and have the ability to multi-task effectively.
Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities
Manages government furnished equipment (GFE) procured include equipment within the facility and equipment procured under the Task Order and deployed to remote sitesPerforms equipment distribution, spares management and vendor returns for government furnished equipment (GFE) and locations procured under the Task Order and deployed to remote sitesAssists with deployments of equipment to customer regional offices and home offices; arranges delivery logistics, tracking of inventory, and communicates with the customer regarding schedule, disposition, and shipping concernsEstablishes and defines property processes for managing and tracking GFE throughout the asset lifecycleDevelops, maintains, and updates policies and procedures for effective asset lifecycle management (acquisition, deployment, utilization, de-installation and reallocation) of all assetsTracks and maintains an inventory of all assets throughout the assets lifecyclePerforms shipping and receiving activitiesPerforms regularly scheduled asset inventories In accordance with gov and dept. policies and guidance Including Quarterly Sensitive Asset InventoriesEnsures compliance with federally-mandated regulations and lawsIdentifies relevant and meaningful metrics, gathers data, and reports the information to managersFacilitates equipment delivery, returns, relocations, storage and transfersEnsures organizational awareness concerning property policies and proceduresConducts investigations of lost, damaged, or destroyed property And reporting ofMaintains asset database and updates records as necessaryWorks both independently and collaboratively with local and remote staff; may supervise 1-2 personnel involved in property/asset tracking and management activitiesWorks on multiple projects concurrently - assesses priorities and operates in a flexible mannerPerforms research to ensure compliance with DOE and federally-mandated regulationsPrioritizes and executes tasks in a high-pressure environmentDemonstrates strong inventory and time management skillsGenerates reports on periodic and ad hoc basisDisplays a high level of attention to detailAble to grasp new technologies quicklyRequired Experience, Education, Skills and Technologies
US Citizen (no dual citizenship permitted)Bachelor's Degree with 5 years work experience; without a degree, 5 years of work experience and 4 additional years of relevant experience required.
