Pay Range: \$19.97 - \$24.96 and determined based on relevant yearsof work experience.

Position Summary: Plan and implement a program appropriate for adesignated group of young children and support a positive learningenvironment for college students.
Required Qualifications: An associate\'s degree (AA) in earlychildhood education, child development, elementary education, or earlychildhood special education

Experience with word processing and general computer use
Good interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor\'s Degree in early childhood education or related academicfield with 20 hours in early childhood education and 16 hours of relatedcoursework.
Three months\' experience in a child care center or preschool
Experience with a similar age group of children as indicated by theposition available
Experience in a nationally accredited center

ASSIST IN THE COORDINATION OF THE DAILY OPERATION OF AN ASSIGNEDCLASSROOM TO MEET BEST PRACTICES Performance is acceptable when: a.Guidelines for state licensing, national accreditation, and thefederal food program are met. b. Classroom Coordinator is advised ofequipment and supply needs. c. Classroom and outdoor play area arewell-maintained.PLAN AND IMPLEMENT A DEVELOPMENTALLY APPROPRIATE CURRICULUM FOR THECHILDREN SERVED Performance is acceptable when: a. Lesson plans arewritten and posted daily, according to guidelines as outlined. b.Assessment on children is ongoing and current. c. Interactions withchildren are meaningful and respectful.ESTABLISH RECIPROCAL RELATIONSHIPS WITH FAMILIES Performance isacceptable when: a. Families are greeted upon arrival anddeparture. b. Daily contact sheets are maintained on allchildren. c. Parent/Teacher conferences are held.ASSIST IN THE COORDINATION OF STUDENTS AND VOLUNTEERS IN THEASSIGNED CLASSROOM Performance is acceptable when: a. Best practicesare role modeled. b. Feedback is provided to the ClassroomCoordinator regarding comments/concerns about performance.*Duties and responsibilities, as required by business necessity, may beadded, deleted or changed at any time at the discretion of management,formally or informally, either verbally or in writing. Scheduling, shiftassignments and work location may be changed at any time, as required bybusiness necessity.
