Job DescriptionThe Analytical Data Operations (ADO) division is Verisk/ISO's data refinery, ensuring that ISO's analytical engines are properly fueled. As a member of ADO you will be part of a team of data analysts, BI developers, data engineers, data architects, and actuarial/analytical-engineers that are dedicated to improve our data analytics platform to support a host of products the US PC industry relies on.

Your purpose is to serve as subject matter expert for all data and related information for the line of business experience.You will collaborate with other team leads and stakeholders to understand and explain industry trends and develop industry expertise across our product portfolio. Additionally, you will work with our international data operations team to develop new tools to expand and enhance your team's ability to develop industry insights at scale and to drive real change in the US PC insurance market.You will operate within a Shared Services model, where you will be expected to manage stakeholder expectations and organize deliverables across junior staff. You will be expected to develop expertise in multiple lines of business, AGILE project management, and advanced analytics using SQL on our cloud data warehouse, being at the forefront of data analytics for the PC industry.Your responsibilities include:Work directly with line of business stakeholders to understand business needs, gather, manipulate, and analyze data to deliver digestible insights that drive business decisionsAnalyze industry data for commercial lines property coverages to identify trends, anomalies, and data quality issues, ensuring product teams are aware of impacts to our analytics driven by industry experienceDevelop data reports and visualizations using business intelligence and analytics softwareLead quarterly presentations with LOB stakeholders to discuss data analysis results, summarizing and synthesizing analysis from junior team members, and documenting key take aways from discussionsManage our data steward relationship with the insurance carriers, providing prompt and meaningful analysis of their data to ensure their compliance with regulatory requirements and the applicability of our industry benchmark analytics to their businessDrive organizational change in how we deliver results both internally and externallyQualificationsBachelor's degree in aSTEMmajor or with STEM coursework learned in associated majors (Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics)A minimum oftwo years PC insurancedata analysis experience with a preferable focus on Commercial Lines coveragesSQL, Excel/BI skills with a focus on data analysisOral and written communicationskills#LI-MC1 #LI-Hybrid #LI-Remote
