　　Job Title: Security Guard

　　FLSA Status: Non-exempt

　　Prepared By: Corporate Human Resources

　　Summary : Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry. Obtains help by sounding alarms. Guards industrial or commercial property against fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry by performing the following duties.

　　Essential Duties and Responsibilities Other duties may be assigned.

　　Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property.

　　Watches for and reports irregularities such as fire hazards, gates left open or unlocked.

　　Using all available electronic technology and surveillance equipment, observe and maintain security of company property and assets.

　　Observes departing personnel to guard against theft of company property.

　　Sounds alarm or calls police or fire department by telephone in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons.

　　Completes reports by recording observations, information, and surveillance activities such as property damage and unusual occurrences, for regular reporting to assigned company management.

　　Regulates vehicle and pedestrian traffic at plant entrance to maintain orderly flow where applicable.

　　Ability to prepare and report finding and incidents.

　　Guard Card Required

　　Must be able to work weekends and night shifts.

　　Education and/or Experience

　　High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 1 year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
