Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Construction Accountant based in BRONXVILLE, New York. This role involves processing and recording all income and expenses, maintaining account balances, and reconciling bank statements. The candidate will also be responsible for understanding and resolving variances in reporting, lease input into accounting software, and other tasks associated with property accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process and record all income and expenses

• Maintain and manage account balances

• Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies

• Understand and resolve variances in reporting

• Input lease details into accounting software

• Calculate and manage CAM/Tax

• Post, analyze, and resolve general ledger transactions

• Process monthly tenant billing

• Perform accounting activities as per established accounting standards and procedures

• Handle AIA billing and other property accounting tasks as needed.

Requirements • Proficiency in Property Accounting is required for this role.

• Applicants must have a solid understanding of AIA Billing.

• The candidate should have experience with Construction Accounting.

• Familiarity with CAM Reconciliation is necessary.

• The role requires the ability to perform Bank Reconciliations.

• Applicants must have strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

• The candidate should have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously are necessary.

• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite is required.

• The candidate must have a strong ethical framework and understanding of confidentiality.
