Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

Join our team as a Maintenance Mechanic where you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing all plant equipment and machines, including facilities and building maintenance. Your tasks will include performing preventative and predictive maintenance of all equipment, reading and accurately analyzing technical procedures, electrical schematics, service manuals, and work orders to perform required tasks. Additionally, you will install and relocate equipment, connect them to necessary utility sources, and design and fabricate tools, jigs, replacement parts, and other equipment as needed. You will also create reports and communicate updates on the status of equipment to coworkers, production, and management. Supporting production needs, you will work overtime, on-call shifts, and be available for emergency coverage. Daily tracking and recording of work using the computer are essential components of this role.

Hard Skills

Experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial equipment

Job Type

This is a contract to hire position paying $25-$35 based on experience

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Saint Clair, Pennsylvania.

Work Environment

The work environment provides a safe atmosphere and is not physically taxing. While the bonding room is climate-controlled, the rest of the facility can be warmer in the summer and cooler in the winter. Teams are small, consisting of 2-10 people, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment. Safety is prioritized with required safety shoes, eye, and hearing protection, and a comfortable dress code, though shorts are not permitted in most areas. Competitive wages are offered with room for advancement, and overtime is available and required every 3rd weekend.
