Description Robert Half is currently working with a dynamic client looking for a Property Accountant. The ideal Property Accountant will have experience in accounting and property management, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and property-specific systems. Your responsibilities in this role
Manage capital lease and monthly payment schedules
Maintain fixed-asset ledger, depreciation and reconciliation
Assemble reporting packages and financial statements
Prepare complex journal entries and account reconciliations
Assemble income statement and balance sheet analyses monthly for management reporting
Coordinate and examine financial data and report it in a clear, useful manner
Support efforts around internal controls, including implementation, maintenance, and adherence Requirements - General proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel preferred
Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or a related field is required
Multi-Entity or Multi-Location Accounting preferred
Previous experience in accounting, real estate accounting, or property accounting preferred
Knowledge of industry specific accounting software
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
