We are responsible for traditional search and recommendation experiences, Price optimization, Growth optimization and as well as the application of newer technology such as generative AI for Premium Copilot. This role will oversee the technical roadmap of the Premium AI team, play a thought partner role to the R&D leadership, and directly drive AI innovations and create impact to the career for the hundred millions of members.
The Premium AI team is dedicated to advancing two key aspects of our business: Growth and Value. Our mission is to expedite positive outcomes for our members, whether they are engaged in job seeking, hiring, or sales. Our challenges encompass a wide spectrum, including the development of search and recommender systems, holistic optimization of the user acquisition funnel, and the creation of Generative AI copilots for our subscribers, among others.
As a Senior Staff AI on our team, you'll serve as the key technical leader, collaborating among engineering, product, design, and horizontal teams to conceptualize and actualize AI products with direct business impact. Your role extends beyond orchestrating collaboration, encompassing responsibilities such as researching, developing, building, and delivering cutting-edge AI technologies. You'll provide technical leadership to cross-functional teams, guide architectural decisions, and wield influence in the implementation across the entirety of the AI and Engineering organization.

Basic QualificationsBA/BS Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent practical experience5+ years of industry experience in software design, development, and algorithm related solutions.5+ years experience programming languages such as Java, C/C++, Python, etc.2+ years in an architect or technical leadership position
Preferred QualificationsPhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Econometrics or related fields10+ years of relevant work experienceStrong academic credentials with publications in top-tier journals and conferencesBackground in one or more of the following areas: search and recommendation systems, econometrics, marketplace optimization, large language models, deep learning, information retrieval, statisticsExperience in bringing large scale AI systems to productionExperience with building graph machine learning and deep neural network solutionsDemonstrated ability to work with peers in engineering and product management across teams to set technical and product directionsExcellent communication and presentation skills

The pay range for this role is $180,000 to $300,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
