98 Rock and WBAL Radio, in Baltimore, Maryland, are looking for a Promotions Assistant to help in the execution of station events and to provide customer service to station contest winners. If you are outgoing, energetic, extremely reliable, and have an excellent work ethic, we want to talk to you! This is an event centric position that is responsible for setting up and executing all aspects of station appearances and remote broadcasts. This person must be able to work Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and occasional weekday events as designated by station management. You will report to the Promotions & Event Coordinator.

　　Job Responsibilities:

　　Coordinate with station representatives, clients and on-air talent to ensure the highest quality event execution Set up WBAL Radio and/or 98 Rock booth or tent and interact with attendees at events which will include handing out promotional items, taking photos and videos and playing games with attendees Set up, breakdown, and monitor remote broadcasts. This includes ensuring that the broadcast stays on time, protect the airwaves from inappropriate content and ensure that all required elements/content make it to air Take photos and videos of events, combined them with creative captions and publish those to station social media accounts Drive to and from event in station promotional car/van Database entry of contest winners and related information Provide our listeners & contest winners with excellent customer service. This may include calling, e-mailing, and all on-site interaction for event attendees Miscellaneous tasks as neededRequirements:

　　Background in events is strongly encouraged but not required Comfort level with audio assembly and production Prior experience operating a studio console is desirable Must be at least 18 years old (over 21 is preferred) Outgoing- enjoy working in a team environment Flexible schedule Highly organized Good customer service skills Computer literate Strong understanding of social media platforms Must be able to lift at least 30lbs Valid driver's license Must be comfortable driving/parking a cargo van Related military experience will be consideredDiversity Statement
