Project Manager/ Technical Portfolio Specialist
to support our client r

join our Portfolio Management (PPM) team. As a Technical Portfolio Specialist at Metas Solutions, you will oversee and coordinate the development of an implementation plan to create a holistic view of all active project work within a program/contract. Additionally, this position will oversee and coordinate the development of a migration plan within a program from an expiring contract to a new contract that satisfies all contract and CDC Enterprise Performance Lifecycle (EPLC) requirements. The ideal candidate will be a senior Project Manager and possess strong leadership skills, a proven successful program management track record, and a deep understanding of government operations. This position works closely with clients, project teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of project plans on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
Lead the planning and execution of complex project requirements, ensuring compliance with regulations and client expectations.Develop formal IT documentation for senior leaders.Cultivate strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique challenges and priorities.Support the needs of the client leadership team in their strategic and portfolio reporting and project planning initiatives.Engage diverse project teams to gain an understanding of each project's unique requirements.Make recommendations for solutions, or improvements, to business processes that can be accomplished through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology.Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, or Visio.Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) with minor in Business, Computer Science, MIS, or Information Technology.10+ years of experience providing project and portfolio management and technical and management direction to project personnel utilizing a Software Development Lifecyle (SDLC) framework.Familiarity with a project management software, MS Project Online preferred.Knowledge of Agile Methodologies, Governance, and Risk Management Processes.Experience with direct management in supporting services and information management operations, preferably in a consulting role.High attention to detail with the ability to multitask and quickly shift context and priorities.Ability to drive thought leadership within a high-volume client environment.Additional Qualifications:
Knowledge of software development processes, including the HHS Enterprise Performance Lifecycle (EPLC).
