Job Overview
The Planning, Design and Construction Project Manager, Senior performsproject management activities over projects that are large in scope andrisk; performs lead work over lower level project managers by assigning andreviewing work and resolving escalated issues.

Qualifications
EDUCATION - Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance,computer science, or a directly related field Construction management,Architecture, Engineering and Interior design preferred.EXPERIENCE - Five (5) years of project management or business/projectanalyst experienceHealthcare Construction PM Preferred.EQUIVALENCY - In lieu of bachelor's degree, four years of professionalexperience will substitute.
Responsibilities

These examples do not include all of thefunctions which the employee may be expected to perform.Develops and gains approval of planning, design and construction projectplans, which outline the objectives of the project, scope of work, andproject elements.Manages the vendor selection process; develops, negotiates, implementsand monitors contracts, ensuring conformance to approved plans and contractspecifications.Develops, implements, and monitors project budgets that are complex innature; allocates resources and tracks and approves expenditures; preparesreports detailing the status of the project budget and compliance to anyrequirements as specified by funding sources.Coordinates the work of consultants and team members who have been assignedresponsibility for various portions of a project; establishes work planresponsibilities and scope of authority; ensures technical proficiency andproductivity of project staff and arranges for training as necessary.Facilitates planning eetings with stakeholders and team members to discussthe project plan, including the fit-gap analysis and proposed budget;plans and conducts project meetings; develops, maintains, and presents acommunication plan and related project status reports for key stakeholders.Reviews and analyzes project changes requests and makes recommendationsrelated to the execution of these requests.Conducts risk and cost/benefit analyses, manages risk associated withprojects, and devises strategies to deal with unexpected crises andunresolved risks.Performs project closure activities including release of contract andpermanent team members from the project, and completing lessons learned andproject implementation review of best practices.Performs lead work over lower level project management team members bydeveloping or modifying work plans, assigning and distributing work,providing work instruction, resolving problems encountered during daily
