Key Responsibilities
Creates, plans, and performs a variety of Dispatching/Full Automation Solution product analysis, design, development, code, code review, documentation, integration, test and product assurance tasks.
Contributes to the development of engineering design models and develops programs to enhance, implement and support project/system functionality for the assigned technical effort and participate in the creation of project timelines, implementation design specifications, system flow diagrams, documentation, testing and ongoing support of applications.
Revise and refine systems as required.
Ensures technical outcomes are consistent with established engineering principles and practices and that customer and company technical, system, performance, and quality requirements are met.
Must be able to apply Software development life cycle concepts and have a proven track record of delivering solid, robust applications.
Work closely with a Solution manager to understand customers' factory challenges and to convert them into the solution products
2nd line support on solution products in customer's factories
Assist service team to deploy solution products in customers' factories
Functional Knowledge
Strong analytical skills, strong oral and written communication skills
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills, detailed oriented, exercises mature judgment
Frequently in English writings, listening, speaking is a must and mandarin is a plus.
Understand complex factory systems and human interactions
Working knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint . . .)
Working knowledge of databases and use of SQL for data collection & manipulation
Working knowledge of scripting languages
A solid understanding of Jenkins, GIT, GIT flow, Jira and Confluence
Business Expertise
Prior experience with Dispatching/FullAuto software engineering and development is a must. A principal activity of this position involve hand on solution development and coding of Dispatching/FullAuto solution products.
Prior experience with Applied Materials Performance Platform technologies will be preferred (APF RTD and Activity Manager).
Prior working experience in semiconductor industry or semiconductor knowledge with be preferred.
