SAP America, Inc. seeks a DevOps Engineer in Newtown Square, PA to build and operate environments for Cloud customers of respective product lines and ensure delivery according to defined Service Level Agreements. Deliver SAP Cloud Applications as a Service from SAP managed datacenters. Utilize knowledge of various technologies (e.g. database, platform) used by development and operations. Drive for automation and standardization. Ensure smooth operations and maximize uptime and performance of Cloud software. Collaborate with engineering and product management as well as other service groups to ensure usage information is considered in new products/releases. Improve system landscape support in the assigned functional areas of responsibility. Independent assurance of effective system operations along the software lifecycle. Provide knowledge management in the team and between operations and development. Ensure excellent quality and maintain high standards in all processes listed in the relevant process map. Contribute to operations model/operational processes and procedures. Responsible for project management.

　　Minimum Education/Experience: Position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field of study and 1 year of experience in the job offered or related occupation. The Company will also accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field of study.

　　Position requires prior experience, internship, or academic coursework to include each of the following:

　　Automation with scripting, including Chef, Terraform, Shell Scripting, and Python;Linux Administration and Operating Systems concepts;Maintain large infrastructure environment, including public and private cloud platforms;Change management processes and incident handling;Implement network protocols, routing, and switching mechanisms;Virtual Machines, including hypervisors;Network File Systems (NFS) and Storage Area Network (SAN); andITIL processes.Telecommuting permitted.

　　Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $81,640 - $124,920. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP's commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $81,700 - $138,800. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process.
