Project Manager III- Oil and Gas
Overview:
Estimates and manages all aspects of one or more medium to larger sized projects for a broad range of Commercial, Oilfield, Plug and Abandon, and environmental projects. Manages the full project lifecycle, from initial project estimating, planning phases through execution and completion. Supervises Superintendents, Forman as necessary and other project support staff. Has authority for job assignments and oversight on Project budgeting, planning, and execution.
Primary Responsibilities:
Produces detailed project estimates and proposals for projects throughout the Lower 48 states and Alaska. Coordinates Site Visits for himself, Superintendents, or others as necessary.Coordinates and produces subcontractor bid packages, interfaces, and evaluates responses in conjunction with Purchasing Policies and ProceduresPurchasing and shipping materials in conjunction with Purchasing Policies and Procedures.Administers, directs, and oversees field activities.Oversight of permitting efforts as required to successfully advance projects. This includes all Federal, State, and local agencies and authorities.Produces production reports, schedules, etc. as required to effectively report and manage the required work effort.Reviews subcontractor material quotes, submittals, and shop drawings for compliance with contract specifications.Prepares all necessary reporting and project progress documentation in the proper format as required by the contract and company management.Responsible for cost control on projects, including risk management.Applies the best practices to all project-related processes.Responsible for QA/QC on assigned projects.Participates in the Olgoonik safety program and is the responsible party in charge for project site safety program compliance on all assigned projects.Follows the projects from cradle to grave.Assists other Olgoonik subsidiaries as assigned.Performs other duties as assigned.Supervisory Responsibilities:
Responsible for ensuring successful completion of the project including the management of lower-tier project managers, clerical and other support personnel, in-house craft personnel and subcontractors.
Education and/or Experience:
Postsecondary degree in engineering or a technical field preferred. Experience in lieu of education will be considered.15 years of project management experience, with emphasis on medium large sized oilfield and environmental remediation, and commercial projects,Project permitting experience and established relationships with regulatory agencies including USACE, BLM, ADEC, among others.Experience with Primavera and Microsoft Project scheduling software preferred, and office suite to include excel, MS word and outlook.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must demonstrate a good attitude and ability to work as a member of a team.Must possess self-motivation and the ability to work effectively with no direct supervision.Must be able to multi-task efficiently, work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects, and have a strong attention for detail.Must have interpersonal skills sufficient to posit vely influence employees and subcontractors to actively achieve successful project outcomes.Knowledgeable in oil and gas well plugging and abandonment practices.Familiar with environmental remediation and reclamation practices.Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
PMP preferred.Professional Engineer preferred.Driver's license required.Potential requirement for individual state licensingSecurity Clearance:* None required.

Work Environment:
General office environment and/or Project field sites, that can vary drastically. Possibility of extremely remote sites, and possibility of no cell or internet services. Travel required based on business demands. Access to the sites could include helicopters, ATV, heavy equipment, boats, horses, or hiking.
