Description:
PROJECT IN HORSEHEADS NY -- back logged work until 2030! K-12 work, essentially a large multi-school campus where they have multiple projects going on at once! This individual will be ONSITE but it is a OWNERS REP ROLE Reports to the assigned Project Executive. Responsible for the overall planning, management and execution of assigned projects. scheduling, billing and controlling direct job material and labor costs in order to generate profit. The Project Manager, along with the Superintendent, is responsible for ensuring a safe work environment. • Ensures that each project starts off successfully by performing careful planning which includes the development of a CPM schedule. • Participate in the Project Hand-off Meeting with Estimating, Accounting, Safety and Superintendent. • Participate in the Constructability Review Meeting when requested by Estimating. • Present comments and concerns relative to site-logistics, sequence of construction, material selections, and required details. • Purchasing of subcontracts and purchase orders. • Track project buyout. • Establishing a schedule of values for billing to be reviewed by the assigned project executive prior to submission. • Develop with the Superintendent a CPM Schedule. • Responsible for estimating and negotiating change orders. • Completes budget revisions timely and accurately upon approval of change orders. • Works with accounting to update budgets and verify accuracy. • Generate and issue subcontractors change orders.
