Description
We are in the search for an AP Project Manager to join our team in the non-profit sector, based in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The selected candidate will be instrumental in establishing and optimizing systems, resolving invoice backlogs, and training the team in new processes. This role offers a contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Establish and streamline a consistent process for incoming invoices to control and manage invoice backlogs.
• Implement, communicate, and document a repeatable process to enhance the team's use of DocuPhase.
• Collaborate with DocuPhase on data integration to resolve outstanding tickets and other issues.
• Oversee the team's efforts in cleaning up incorrect or incomplete vendor data.
• Develop standard communication to vendors to ensure invoices are submitted correctly and contain necessary information for system processing.
• Train the team in new processes, demonstrating a balance of assertiveness and approachability.
• Liaise with DocuPhase's assigned Project Manager on a weekly basis.
• Utilize skills in Accounts Payable (AP), Approval Process, Process Improvement, Data Integration, and Project Management to perform tasks effectively and efficiently.
Requirements • Must possess strong skills in Project Management

• Experienced in Approval Process and Process Improvement
• Must have a strong understanding of Data Integration
• Previous experience in a non-profit environment is a plus
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to multitask and manage various project elements simultaneously
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well with all levels of management and staff
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred
• Must have a strong ethical standard and integrity
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes or techniques.
