This is an exempt/salary position. Pay may vary depending on your location, skills, and experience.

Job Summary
The Vice President, Major Projects, leads construction efforts for large high voltage transmission projects. This position will lead overall administrative, technical, financial, and resource management for projects from initial bid through completion. The Vice President, Major Projects, is also responsible for delivering projects safely, according to quality standards, in a timely manner, and within budget.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Display a high level of leadership, with the ability to make challenging business decisions, participate in and drive Company culture, with a focus on Safety, by modeling behaviors and holding others accountable.
Develop, prepare, and implement short- and long-term business development plans.
Interface with Customers and Stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.
Lead pre-construction efforts in bid preparation, contract and exhibit review, and execution planning.
Oversee the development of budget projections for labor, material, equipment, and subcontractors procured on the project.
Responsible for project cost forecasting and accuracy of reporting.
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of ten years in a leadership role in the technical, operational, or engineering aspects of the electrical utility industry.
Proven experience as a Project Manager, with a track record of successfully delivering complex transmission projects.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
Relevant certifications (PMP Certification) or professional qualifications.
