　　Job Overview

　　This project management role is with the Design and Construction department which oversees planning, design, and construction for capital improvement projects across the hospital sites in Paterson and Wayne, and offsite locations including Totowa and other regional real estate holdings. The Project Manager oversees all aspects of the assigned projects, from project inception and feasibility studies, through design, construction, regulatory closeout, project closeout, and turnover to the clinicians and facility maintenance teams. Project sizes vary depending on needs, from small scale room modifications, to equipment replacements requiring infrastructure updates, to department relocations and renovations, and beyond. Tasks include scope definition and scope management, stakeholder management and coordination, schedule development and management of project progress, budget definition and tracking, managing the design process, invoice review, bid preparation/review/analysis, overseeing the construction, and project reporting.

　　Qualifications

　　A minimum of 5 years experience in design, construction management, project management, or related fields, preferably in the hospital/healthcare related field.

　　Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field; OR min of 3 years PM experience, preferably in hospital/healthcare related projects.

　　Excellent organization and time management skills; process driven, detail oriented, strong analytic skills.

　　Excellent communication skills and problem solving ability.

　　Experience with MS Office, MS Project or other project management software preferred.
