Description:
Executes multiple projects of lite to high complexity, partnering with the business and IT to identify specific goals and/or issues, proposing courses of action, driving initiatives to ensure solid results. Supports, develops and manages detailed project plans and scorecards
PM that has finance experience in Enterprise management solution - currently using Adaptive
Goal of project is to get our clients globally all on the same EMS system.
ii. Number of systems to either bring in a solution to fill the gap ^^
iii. Or build interfaces to existing solution
b. In US they use adaptive. Europe is different. Haven't integration business solutions yet.
c. So either use Adaptive for global solution or what makes the most sense for new tool.
d. Ability to manage multiple projects (3-4 projects) depending on size
e. Familiar within SAP
f. Have to be able to schedule meetings in morning hours due to overseas - heaviest meeting time
Manages and participates on cross-functional project teams for highly complex and/or highly valuable projects, working with defined project schedules to drive results
Responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously
Responsible for effective execution, maintenance and ongoing improvement of the project management process
Manages changes; resolves or escalates project issues accordingly
Works closely with business functional areas to articulate project status and potential solutions. Communicates project status in a way that complies with current Stage Gate and Project.
May provide guidance or mentorship to other project team member
Manages project resources and timelines, ensuring critical path milestones are met, identifying any barriers to progress
Accountable for project planning, tracking, risk, scope management, execution and reporting
Adheres to the clients IT Project Management methodology and guidelines
Manages project budget and reports finances accordingly
Supports the performance of contract staff and as required hire, train, and evaluate performance of contract staff.
Ensures project documentation is organized and accessible, participates in and organizes Post Launch Reviews and attends applicable Gate meetings
Provides necessary administrative support as needed
