Responsibilities The Project Manager is accountable for providing leadership and expertise in planning, executing, and managing projects and programs for New Product Development and Supply Chain related initiatives. In this role, the Project Manager will manage multiple projects partnering with cross-functional team members and, at times, interacting with senior leaders. The Project Manager ensures the projects are completed within the previously approved project schedule, cost, scope, and quality thresholds. They will be responsible for communicating functional strategies to team, managing risk, and leading conflict resolution. The role interfaces extensively with all functional areas to include sales, marketing, finance, procurement, R&D, quality, demand planning, and operations. Examples of projects would include new products, line extensions, package/graphics changes, reformulations, operations, engineering, process improvements, quality regulations, etc. The role reports into the CFO who also has oversight of business operations, but is heavily matrixed into the Assoc Director of Marketing for leadership. • Lead stage gate, commercialization process and company-wide cost-out process • Maintain and advance PMO work processes including system workflows • Ensure the organization understands and effectively executes workflows and business processes. Manage interdependencies and connections between functions and ensure visibility and alignment • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within the scope and budget • Oversee & lead projects to include the development of timelines, critical paths, resource assignment, task definition and ownership, and the management, tracking, and reporting of activities • Manage project performance and risk by proactively identifying, analyzing, and planning risk response with the project team; communicate risk and risk responses with Project Sponsor, and key business stakeholders as needed. Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree in business, management or a related field requiring project management disciplines • 3+ years of progressively responsible project management experience (food manufacturing preferred) • Motivated and acts with a sense of urgency. • Adaptable to shifting priorities and innovative with solutions. • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal skills with strong attention to detail. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with PM workflow software • PMP Certification is a plus. • Experience with Six Sigma methodologies is a plus. • Experience in CPG preferred. • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be qualifying
